Audio Mixer
Blend two or more audio files into a single track by playing them simultaneously, not back-to-back. Add as many layers as you like, adjust each track's volume independently, and export the final mix as MP3 or WAV. Great for adding background music under a voiceover, combining sound effects, or building a simple remix. Unlike Audio Merger, which places clips end to end, this tool overlays every track so they all play at once — the core operation behind any voiceover-plus-music combination, layered sound design, or simple remix. Each layer gets its own independent volume slider so you can duck the background music under dialogue or balance multiple instrument stems relative to each other before exporting a single combined file.

FAQ
How is this different from Audio Merger?+
Audio Merger stitches files back-to-back in sequence. Audio Mixer layers files on top of each other so they play at the same time.
How many tracks can I mix?+
As many as your browser memory allows — typically 5-10 tracks work smoothly.
Can I control the volume of each track?+
Yes. Each layer has its own volume slider, from silent to 150%.
What if my tracks are different lengths?+
The mix will match the length of the longest track. Shorter tracks simply stop playing when they end.
Can I mix different formats together?+
Yes. MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG, and FLAC can all be mixed together freely.
Will the mixed audio clip or distort?+
If the combined volume is too loud, lower individual track volumes before mixing to avoid clipping.
Is this good for adding background music to voice recordings?+
Definitely. Upload your voice track as the main track and add music as a layer at a lower volume.
Does mixing reduce audio quality?+
Export as WAV for lossless quality, or MP3 for smaller file size with minimal quality loss.
Can I mute or remove a track after adding it?+
Yes. Each layer has its own remove button, and you can toggle mute on individual tracks before exporting.
What export formats are supported?+
You can export the final mix as MP3 or WAV, same as most other tools here.
