Audio Cutter
Trim any audio file to the exact moment you need — paste in a start and end time, or drag the waveform handles directly. Supports MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG, and FLAC up to 100 MB. Great for cutting intros, removing silence, or clipping a highlight for Reels or TikTok. The waveform view makes it easy to spot exactly where a beat drops or a sentence ends, so you can zoom in and set your in and out points down to the millisecond. Choose to keep the selected range or delete it, then export as MP3 or WAV without ever leaving your browser. Because everything runs locally, there's no upload wait and no file ever touches a server — your audio stays private from start to finish, even for sensitive voice memos or unreleased tracks.

FAQ
How do I cut a specific section of my audio?+
After uploading, drag the handles on the waveform or type the start and end times manually. Preview your selection, then hit download.
Will quality drop if I cut an MP3?+
SoundStream uses high-quality decoding and re-encoding. If you export with 'Highest Quality' settings, the loss is virtually imperceptible.
Can I cut audio for Reels or TikTok?+
Yes! We provide built-in presets for Instagram Reels (60s), TikTok (60s), YouTube Shorts (60s), and ringtones (30s). One-tap ready.
Can I process files larger than 100MB?+
Currently, the limit is 100MB. For larger files, please compress or split them using a separate tool first.
Can I save as WAV instead of MP3?+
Absolutely. You can choose your preferred format in the export options.
Can I cut multiple sections at once?+
Right now, it's one section per pass. If you need multiple clips, cut them individually and use our Audio Merger tool to combine them.
I can't see the waveform. What's wrong?+
The file might still be loading, or your browser is decoding the format. Please wait a moment or refresh the page and try again.
There's a clicking noise at the cut points.+
Apply a tiny Fade In/Out (0.05–0.1s) to smooth out the transition and eliminate the click.
What's the difference between Audio Cutter and Ringtone Maker?+
They are similar, but Ringtone Maker includes auto-fades and optimized length presets tailored for ringtones.
Can I send the result to another tool without downloading?+
Currently, you'll need to download the file and re-upload it to the next tool. In-app file transfer is coming soon!
