Format Converter
Convert your audio to the format you need — MP3, WAV, OGG, FLAC, or M4A — right in the browser. No software to install and no file size limit beyond your device's memory. Just drop a file and download the result. This is the tool to reach for when a video editor only accepts WAV, a messaging app rejects FLAC, or you need a smaller MP3 to email instead of a bulky lossless file. Conversion happens entirely client-side using the Web Audio API, so your original file is never uploaded anywhere — useful for unreleased music, client recordings, or anything you'd rather keep off third-party servers. Because there's no queue or server processing, most files convert in just a few seconds regardless of format.

FAQ
Which formats are supported?+
You can convert between MP3, WAV, OGG, FLAC, and M4A seamlessly.
Will converting MP3 to WAV improve quality?+
No. Once a file is compressed to MP3, it cannot 'regain' quality. However, converting to WAV is great for preventing further degradation during editing.
Why is conversion slow?+
Everything happens locally on your device. Speed depends on your device's performance and the file size.
Is there a file size limit?+
We support files up to 100MB. Please compress or split larger files first.
How much smaller is FLAC to MP3?+
An MP3 (320kbps) is usually 3–5x smaller than FLAC, with quality most listeners can't distinguish.
Will metadata/tags be preserved?+
Not guaranteed in the current version. Please double-check your tags after conversion.
Can I convert multiple files at once?+
Currently, we process one file at a time. Batch conversion is coming soon.
Are M4A and AAC the same?+
M4A is a container format that holds AAC audio. They are effectively the same in most players.
Can I play OGG files on iPhone?+
iOS doesn't natively support OGG. We recommend converting to M4A or MP3 for better compatibility.
Is the original file deleted after conversion?+
No. We never touch your original file. We don't store anything on servers; you just download the result.
